An ISBN barcode is actually an EAN13 barcode that contains a particular number calculated form the ISBN number. The conversion consists of adding '978' to the front of the ISBN number and replacing the ISBN checksum digit (the last digit) with the correct EAN13 checksum digit. They confirm to the rules as set up by the EAN organisation and look like the sample shown here. The width is 37.3mm and the height is 28.7mm. This is the official size for an EAN13 barcode. In our oppinion the internal structure of an .eps document should be as simple as possible. Because of this it is possible to 'ungroup' our barcodes with, for example, Adobe Illustrator. The barcode will then be fully editable! You will have full freedom to change anything you want.

If you need an ISBN barcode with suffix than we can supply that too. The 5 digit suffix is generally used to encode the price of the book.
